Forgive me, reader. It’s been a while since my last confession blog post.
Life has been a bit hectic recently and for a number of reasons I haven’t been to class for several weeks and have allowed my membership to lapse. It’s a familiar tale.
I’m still trying to follow the plan in a rather half-assed way BUT I really don’t want to pile all that weight back on (more than 2 stones lost) so here I am trying to get back on track.
I have four weeks till I go on holiday so my self-imposed mini target is to drop 8lbs off before I depart. Nothing standing in my way except my own laziness and CBA attitude. To help me reach my goal I am going to do some walking so have downloaded an app to monitor my progress. I can easily take a short walk at lunchtime to get me out of the office and burn a few calories.
It was a lovely warm day today so Martin & I took a stroll along the canal to test out the app. Four kilometres in an hour was easily achieved plus we had time to chat and enjoy the stunning Oxfordshire countryside on our doorstep.
