My pantomime diary: wardrobe

Sunday 20 September
Jeannie and I went down to the cabins to fetch the costumes we had pulled out to try on. Two carloads of slightly musty old clothes arrived in the garden to be hung up and appraised in the light of day.
Before I could get a photo, my washing line snapped and deposited the lot in a heap on the lawn.

A bootful has gone back into the car to try on tomorrow night at rehearsals. I can’t wait to see my pussycat dames in all their finery! Two rail fulls and several boxes are in my spare room to be tried on later.
