I am six weeks into my slimming world journey and have already successfully shed a stone.
I have taken a lot of inspiration and advice from my fellow bloggers who are also following the plan so I felt it was only right to resurrect my neglected blog and give something back.
So, what’s for dinner tonight?
Lean pork steaks with roasted new (from our garden) potatoes sprayed with fry light and sprinkled with some thyme and oregano. Steamed carrots and broad beans (also home grown). All free foods.
Two spoonfuls of gravy (about 30ml counted as 1 syn).
While the oven was on, I roasted half a butternut squash with some red and yellow peppers and a red onion all sprayed with frylight. When cooled these will be mixed with a packet of savoury chicken rice (1.5 syns) and be shared between the two of us for tomorrow’s lunch.
