240/365 Today I…am chillin’

Today I…have had a great relaxing day.
We bought more fish for dinner…prawns and some hake. On the way back we stopped at a vineyard and orchard where they produce English wine and cider. We had a taste and bought a few bottles (no surprise!)
After a lovely stroll on the beach we went for a swim in the outdoor pool- wow that was refreshing!
Just eaten our fabulous prawns with a home made tartare-style sauce that I managed to throw together (mayonnaise, chopped parsley, chopped baby cornichons and some lemon zest).

I am sitting in the wifi hotspot writing this. I’m heading back for a glass of red wine made just up the road and some hake wrapped in bacon and cooked on the BBQ .

I’m not quite “fished” out yet… We have promised ourselves some good old fish and chips eaten out of the paper sitting on a bench overlooking the sea before we go home tomorrow.
Cheers!
