Today I… was at the vegetable plot after work, picking a few runner beans for dinner. At the moment we seem to having them every day!
There are two old apple trees in the car park and the recent stormy weather has brought down a few early windfalls. We picked up a bucket full in just a few minutes, so tonight we enjoyed some stewed apple with sultanas and honey for pudding. I love free food! Lots left over to cook and freeze, or turn into delicious pies and crumbles like this one I made from last year’s scrumping!
