114/365 Today I…have aching feet

Today I… have been working away at a company event-the bira AGM and High Street Conference and Expo.  I have been manning the stand for the publishing company that I work for.  The theme of the Expo was ‘ a summer fete’ and the stands were featuring games and fun activities in order to interact with the conference attendees:  hook a duck, guess the weight of the cake, tombola, make a sand castle, etc.

These are some quick snaps of our stand taken as we were setting up- the home made bunting was made from front covers of our magazines and we were very proud of it. I have saved it and will be putting it up in the office if the boss doesn’t object!  Our ‘game’ was a word puzzle- a cross between scrabble and countdown which was played against the clock to create some excitement.

The conference included several interesting guest speakers and the day will be ending with a gala dinner and awards ceremony. Not for me, sadly, I am back home with sore feet and tired eyes after an early start (left the house at 6.30am) and a 90 minute journey.
Early night, I think.
